Andrew Magdy concentrates his practice in the areas of creditors and debtors’ rights in bankruptcy, enforcement of lender’s rights, and fiduciary, trust and estate planning & litigation. Andrew also handles all matters of plaintiffs’ and defendants’ representation in commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Schmidt Basch, LLC, Andrew represented thousands of debtors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings in the Eastern District of Missouri and Central and Southern Districts of Illinois. Andrew has handled a variety of Adversary Proceedings in Bankruptcy Courts and appeals for the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of the Eighth Circuit and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to his bankruptcy practice, Andrew clerked for the Michigan Tax Tribunal and obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
Andrew is a 2007 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law and is licensed to practice in the State of Missouri, the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court.
